Direction prof. José Rodrigues Neto
with help of prof. Tarcisio Praciano-Pereira
The main activity of this lab is the production and support to the user of the kits of math games, this is also called laboratórios de ensino de
matemática".
Professor José
Rodrigues Neto has been producing educational games for a long time and
recently he has put them together in this set which we are presenting here.
The kit is a cabinet (a container) with the
games.
The container was designed to
give an easy access
to the games, but it is the place where the games will be stored when out of use. There can be stored the help material. This page is a temporary one and it will soon be replaced by a better
presentation of the lab.
Any way it shows a little how pratical is this set of games. How they are
stored like drawers
which may easily taken from the cabinet and transported to classroom.
Here you can have a first look of the games, do not forget that his page
is temporary and you shall have here, soon, a better show of all the games.
Each game is made up of metalic card where the pieces are add together to
make a mathematical (arithmetic or geometric) efect. The level of mathematics
is the elementary school but there is something at the level of High School (the process is running...)
There are two versions, one for the elementary school and the other which contains material to High School.
This works with the os três lados de um Pytagorean theorem to show how we can arrange for a2 b2 = c2
Here you can seen a game that may put together the graphs of second degree functions, circles, or strigh lines. The "graphics" can be help by the metalic cards if they are at the horizontal or in the vertical.
Here you are an universal calendar so you can play the time arithmetic with your students.
This card permits to design é solid geometric figures, like cubes, piramides etc...the faces are included in the kit.
Here you are the container, without the cards.
Some other pictures of the container showing the section where the cards are stored. There are 25 cards. You may also see the lateral sections to keep auxiliary material to the work.
The container has been designed to make easy the storing of the cards and make easy the process of taking them to the class room.
When close, the cabinet é is a beautiful piece of furniture.
Here you are another shot of the card to teach the Pytagorean Theorem.

This page is a temporary one, sorry for its bad design. We'll be back soon with some better material.
